Crunchy Delights: Recipes for Munching Bliss with Makhana

This Makhana Mix Snack is perfect for parties, movie nights, or as a crunchy mid-day snack. 

  • 2 cups Makhana (Foxnuts)
  • 1 cup roasted peanuts
  • 1/2 cup roasted chana dal (split roasted chickpeas)
  • 1/2 cup roasted cashews
  • 1/2 cup roasted almonds
  • 2 tablespoons ghee (clarified butter)
  • 1 teaspoon chaat masala
  • 1 teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chili powder (adjust to taste)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh coriander leaves (optional)

Instructions:

  1.  Add the roasted peanuts, roasted chana dal, roasted cashews, and roasted almonds in a bowl.
  2.  Add Makhana Time makhana in the mixture.
  3. Mix the remaining 1 tablespoon of ghee with chaat masala, cumin powder, red chili powder, and salt to taste. 
  4. Toss everything together until the Makhana and nuts are well coated with the spice mixture.
  5. Sprinkle chopped fresh coriander leaves (optional) over the cooled Makhana mix for an extra burst of flavor.
  6. Store the Makhana Mix Snack in an airtight container and enjoy it as a healthy and delicious snack anytime!
